KLCCP and KLCC Reit Appoint Datuk Sr Mohd Salem Kailany as New CEO

KLCC Property Holdings Bhd (KLCCP) and KLCC Reit Management Sdn Bhd (KLCC Reit) have appointed Datuk Sr Mohd Salem Kailany as their chief executive officer (CEO) effective Nov 1, succeeding Datuk Md. Shah Mahmood.

KLCC Property Holdings Bhd (KLCCP) and KLCC Reit Management Sdn Bhd (KLCC Reit) announced the appointment of Datuk Sr Mohd Salem Kailany as their new Chief Executive Officer (CEO) effective November 1 following the departure of Datuk Md. Shah Mahmood. Salem, a seasoned surveyor with over 30 years of experience, previously served as President and CEO of UDA Holdings Bhd.

Salem’s career also includes a successful tenure as CEO of PNB Development from 2016 to 2019 where he strengthened financial outcomes and improved the township profile of Kota Seriemas in Nilai. KLCCP and KLCC Reit praised Salem’s robust expertise in property development, strategy and business growth which has equipped him to lead a range of township projects including Denai Alam, Bandar Ainsdale, Bandar Universiti Pagoh and Serenia City in Sepang.

The companies highlighted that Salem’s extensive knowledge of the Malaysian property sector covers a broad spectrum of real estate functions, such as valuation, project advisory, property development, and management, as well as strategy and mergers and acquisitions. This diverse background positions him as a respected figure in the industry, noted for his strategic vision and hands-on experience across complex property projects.

Expressing confidence in Salem’s capabilities, the boards of KLCCP and KLCC Reit extended their appreciation to outgoing CEO Datuk Md. Shah Mahmood, wishing him success in his future endeavors. Salem’s appointment is anticipated to bring valuable leadership to KLCCP and KLCC Reit as they continue to advance their property portfolios and business objectives.
