SHAH ALAM: The management of a popular Shah Alam theme park will be summoned after a full report on an incident where a visitor was injured by a falling float from a glass water slide is presented at the State Executive Council meeting.
Selangor Menteri Besar Datuk Seri Amirudin Shari stated that the meeting, scheduled for Wednesday, may also involve the Shah Alam City Council (MBSA) once all details are gathered.
“I have reviewed the written report, but we are awaiting the full report. We will ensure the park complies with regulations set by authorities such as MBSA,” he said at an event with the Village Development and Security Committees (JPKK) yesterday.
Earlier, Shah Alam district police chief ACP Mohd Iqbal Ibrahim confirmed that a visitor was injured when a float from a water slide fell at the theme park in Section 7, Shah Alam, on the night of Jan 29.
