KUALA LUMPUR: Eight Malaysians have filed a class-action lawsuit worth RM60 million against the government and the World Health Organization (WHO), alleging that Covid-19 vaccinations caused deaths and severe health complications.
The lawsuit, filed through Messrs Mohamad Zainuddin & Co., names 25 defendants, including Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim, former prime ministers Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin and Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob, Inspector-General of Police Tan Sri Razarudin Husain, and vaccine manufacturers Pfizer Malaysia and Sinovac Biotech Ltd.
Additional defendants include Health Minister Datuk Seri Dr Dzulkefly Ahmad, his predecessors Khairy Jamaluddin and Datuk Seri Dr Adham Baba, as well as Home Minister Datuk Seri Saifuddin Nasution Ismail and his predecessor Datuk Seri Hamzah Zainudin.
Key Allegations
The plaintiffs allege that the WHO, led by its director-general Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, fraudulently declared a global pandemic on March 11, 2020, which they claim was unscientific and based on false information. They further argue that this led to the implementation of Movement Control Orders (MCOs) in Malaysia and other countries.
The plaintiffs claim the Covid-19 virus is a man-made biological weapon, created to resemble seasonal flu. They allege that WHO and its affiliates recommended the use of what they describe as “toxic experimental vaccines” to combat a “false pandemic.” The defendants, they argue, were negligent for failing to conduct thorough clinical research or verify the safety of the vaccines.
Specifically, the lawsuit accuses former Prime Minister Muhyiddin Yassin of accepting and implementing the pandemic response measures, including MCOs, without proper investigation.
Claims of Misinformation and Coercion
The plaintiffs allege that the defendants misled the public by using fraudulent and coercive tactics, including:
- Misrepresentation and suppression of facts about the pandemic and vaccines.
- Failing to provide full disclosure, leading the public to give uninformed consent for vaccinations.
They claim these actions led Malaysians, including themselves, to sign consent forms without being fully aware of the alleged risks of the vaccines.
Demands in the Lawsuit
The plaintiffs are seeking:
- A court declaration that the Covid-19 pandemic is fake and a man-made biological weapon.
- Malaysia’s withdrawal from membership in the WHO and World Economic Forum (WEF).
- General, special, and exemplary damages for the harm allegedly caused by the vaccines.
This high-profile case raises significant questions about vaccine safety, pandemic response measures, and the role of global health organizations in managing public health crises.
